Honoring a Passion for Paws, in Loving Memory

Amy Dunbar-Greene never intended to own a dog bakery. In fact she would've told you outright, "I do not bake for dogs, I bake for people".

That all changed with her daughter, who had a severe peanut allergy growing up. They were a family of dog lovers and Amy quickly realized that very few healthy dog treats were made without peanuts.

Amy, who later became a canine nutritionist, began to try out different peanut-free dog treat recipes. After perfecting these recipes with her tasters-testers (her husband and the neighborhood dogs) word of mouth began to spread.

What started as a quest for peanut-free treats turned into a thriving business, and the first dog bakery in Bristol, TN was opened.

Black Dog Barkery offers all-natural, organic, and human-grade ingredient treats made with love. We even offer custom birthday cakes for the furry members of your family!

Our boutique-style store also features unique pet products, including dog supplements for optimal health, seasonal dog outfits, healthy dog food options, and has become a go-to destination for pet parents looking to celebrate their furry family members.

Black Dog Barkery has always been about helping as many dogs as possible to live healthy and fulfilled lives.
